Personal Emergency Response System
WHAT IS IT?
The Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) is an incredible tool to provide peace of mind for loved ones who spend time alone in their homes. In case of an emergency, a senior can push a button to summon help. The button may be worn as a pendant or as a bracelet.
We now partner with Philips Lifeline to provide this service to Clay County older adults who live in their own homes.
Clay County Senior Services pays for half of the monthly fee.
Basic land line unit -Client's cost is $15.00 monthly service fee.
Basic Lifeline with Auto Alert provides added protection by automatically placing a call for help if a fall is detected. Client's cost is $21.00 monthly service fee.
Lifeline is also available for those who do not have a land line telephone.
Client's cost for basic wireless service is $17.00 monthly service fee.
Basic wireless with Auto Alert - client's cost is $26.00 monthly service fee.
New! Go Safe unit goes anywhere with client. Must purchase initial unit for $149;
monthly fee w/land line: $40; with wireless: $50.
There is no installation charge and no contract to sign for any of the above services.
